A viral video circulating on social media has sparked widespread reactions after showing a Nigerian pastor instructing members of his congregation to transfer all the money in their bank accounts to him while promising they would receive a miracle within seven days.

In the video, the pastor is seen preaching before inviting three congregants to the altar.

He then hands each of them a sheet of paper containing what he identifies as his personal bank account number.

Addressing the worshippers, the pastor says:

“This is my account number. Transfer all the money you have—everything in your bank account and at home—to this account, and within seven days, something miraculous will happen in your life.”

The video has since gone viral, generating heated debate across social media.

While some viewers defended the pastor, describing the instruction as an act of faith and sacrificial giving, many others criticised the message, questioning the ethics of asking worshippers to surrender all their money in exchange for the promise of a miracle.
