Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael, better known by his stage name Zlatan, is a Nigerian singer who has declared his intention to wed Davita Lamai.

While travelling with friends and coworkers to the wedding of businessman and music entrepreneur Soso Soberekon, the pair made the announcement in a video posted on social media.

Singer Teni joyfully announced that Zlatan and Davita would shortly get married while on the vacation.

“So Zlatan and his wonderful wife are going to be having their wedding,” she said.

Davita also spoke to the people on board, extending an invitation for them to come to the event.

“I just want to extend an invite to everyone. I’d love to have you all there. It will be so nice to have everyone there,” she said.

The revelation was greeted with applause and congratulations from all in attendance, even though the couple did not disclose the wedding date or location.

The news follows months of rumours that Zlatan and Davita were secretly married.

The singer denied the rumours at the time, stating that Davita was his child’s mother.

Despite his denial, people observed that Davita had altered her Instagram profile to add the surname Omoniyi, and speculations continued after the couple appeared in family photos wearing similar rings.

Since then, fans and well-wishers have congratulated the pair on their impending nuptials, igniting excitement on social media.
