A Nigerian man’s account of what happened to him after paying for a plantain went viral on the internet.
The man disclosed the recent occurrence in a post on the microblogging site X (previously Twitter).

The man, who goes by the X handle @A-lettertomyson, revealed that the woman took seven minutes to verify his payment.

She opened up to him about why she didn’t use the app when he asked her more questions about having an Opay account.

The woman said that her lack of internet data was the reason behind her choice.

She was surprised when the male customer eventually gave her a one-month data plan.
