Nigerian dancehall singer Cynthia Morgan has issued a stern warning to Nigerians ahead of the 2027 general elections, urging citizens to take their voting decisions seriously.
In a post shared on her Instagram page, the singer stressed that the outcome of the elections could have significant consequences for the country’s stability and the future of its citizens.
Morgan appeared to direct her message at Nigerians who may be taking the electoral process lightly, emphasising the importance of considering the country’s future when choosing political leaders.
She also expressed displeasure with individuals she believes are undermining Nigeria’s stability, calling on God to remember their actions and punish those she considers responsible.
She wrote:> “Whoever you vote for next year in the general elections is going to determine if you’re going to live long. Cause I am praying to God to remember all your sins and punish anyone playing with the stability of this country.”
The singer’s remarks come as political discussions and activities gradually intensify ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Her statement has drawn attention to concerns about national stability, leadership and the role of voters in determining the country’s political direction.
Morgan did not mention any political party or presidential candidate in the post.
