A Nigerian man identified as @idansoteria on X (formerly Twitter) has disclosed a large sum mistakenly credited to his account.

According to the X user, the sum of five million naira was erroneously sent to his OPay account.

The sender, who made the transfer from his own OPay account in error, contacted him via WhatsApp to request a refund into a different account.

The sender also asked him to keep one million naira for himself and return the remaining balance.

‎”You can take 1 million and send me back the remaining 4 million to this account”, He stated.
