Concerns have been raised about Nigeria’s political future following warnings from the leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, who stated that the United States may take action against some African governments.

In a statement sent by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, the cleric claimed that Donald Trump may act against some African leaders, including Nigeria’s president, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Ayodele remarked that the United States is not currently supporting Tinubu’s administration.

According to him, the relationship between American officials and Nigeria may not be as beneficial as some believe.

He cautioned that despite Tinubu’s continuous efforts, Trump may finally turn against him.

“No matter what Tinubu is doing now, Trump will come around against him. America isn’t coming to help you but to remove you,” he said.

The cleric also asked Nigerians to remain vigilant regarding events in various parts of the country.

He recommended both government and individuals to keep a watchful eye on academic institutions and security services.

He mentioned Abuja, Lokoja, Benue, Kogi, Edo, Ogun, Katsina, Adamawa, Kano, and Sokoto states.

Ayodele stated that these regions should be constantly monitored due to potential security issues.

The religious leader also emphasised the necessity for proactive leadership in Nigeria’s military and security structures.

He stressed that the administration needed to take security concerns seriously.

“Nigerian government must not sleep on this security matter… There will still be political assassinations and attacks,” he stated.
