A heartbroken man has narrated how he allegedly found out that his wife was having an affair with a wealthy man, after growing suspicious of her phone habits and movements.

The story was shared on Facebook by Obongawan Janet Afia, who recounted the man’s experience, including how a commercial motorcyclist became involved in his efforts to uncover his wife’s activities.

The man said his suspicions started when he noticed that his wife had changed her phone password, but he chose not to confront her because he did not want to appear insecure in the marriage.

According to him, he had been worried that his wife might repeat the alleged behaviour of her mother, whom he claimed had affairs with other men while married to his father-in-law.

He also said his wife was very close to her mother and often spoke highly of her, even though her father was the one who took care of her.

Recounting his experience, he said:

“When I noticed that my wife had a new password I didn’t ask her why. I simply avoided her phone because I didn’t want to show her how insecure I was in our marriage even though her mom was known for going after men when she was with her father.

“The thought of her doing same to me hunts me for years. But I made up my mind never to check her phone or ask her why she changed her password. But I was always worried because she was also very close to her mom.”

The man said his suspicions grew stronger one evening when his wife said she was going to a church programme but refused to let him drive her there.

He added that their child was just three years old at the time, yet his wife left the children at home and took a commercial motorcycle.
