Saida Boj, a social media figure, has expressed unhappiness with the country’s economic and security difficulties, claiming she has gone from hopeful about Nigeria’s future to considering leaving the country.

In an online video, Saida Boj recounted how she had scoffed at the prospect of migrating abroad and remained optimistic that things in Nigeria would change.

However, she stated that contemporary realities have changed her perspective, with main worries including insecurity, increased living costs, and bad infrastructure.

The influencer lamented the difficulty of driving by road to her hometown, claiming that fears of kidnapping and instability have made what was once a simple village excursion seem dangerous.

She also complained about the rising cost of transit and basic commodities, claiming that many ordinary Nigerians are being priced out of previously normal experiences.

According to her, a mix of insecurity, economic hardship, insufficient electrical supply, and inadequate infrastructure has left many individuals sceptical about the country’s future.

“Before, If you tell me say you wan japa go Nigeria I go laugh you. Yes that is who I used to be, a girl who was quite optimistic about the country say one day e go better.

But yesterday I found myself thinking about japaing. That’s to show you how much Nigeria has failed me.

Me I just want to visit my village because of the smell of the village, the road trip, the smell of the river. But right now them no born you well say you wan travel by road go your village.

In fact right now Nigeria is too expensive for p0or people. You no even fit travel. If no be flight, dey where you dey. E come be like p0or people n0 be human beings. Cost of living one take the living.

Light, water, road bad. Everything is bad in this country. What is happening in this country? Are we trying to close Nigeria? Let us know. E come be like them don sell this country.
