Peter Obi says he doesn’t own house or land in Abuja, calls it ‘unnecessary headache’

Former presidential candidate Peter Obi has revealed that he does not own a house or land in Abuja and has no ambitions to acquire any, noting that accumulating property often causes unnecessary stress.

Obi, speaking at a public gathering, stressed that possessing various possessions might become a burden rather than an advantage.

I don’t have a house or a land in Abuja. I’m not even preparing to have, because I don’t need it. The more you have all these things, the more headache you have,” he said.

The politician’s words elicited a variety of reactions online, with some applauding his apparent joy and others questioning his transparency about property ownership.

Obi stated that simplicity and avoiding unnecessary complications were important in his personal life, which reflected his wealth and property management philosophy.
