Pastor Enenche dismisses claims of using church funds for lifestyle

Paul Enenche, senior pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, has refuted allegations that he exploits church finances to sustain his personal lifestyle, calling them false and deceptive.

Speaking at a church service, Enenche said that he has never had access to the church’s financial records and that he has never spent money from church supplies—such as books, CDs, or offerings—on personal goods.

He clarified that rather than using church resources, all of his personal needs are satisfied by what he called “divine provision.”

The clergyman stressed that church offerings are completely earmarked for ministry objectives and that the money from materials he writes and sells through the church has not been utilised to pay for his clothes or accessories.

Enenche also exhorted believers to put spiritual development, service to God, and dedication to church work over material belongings and public perceptions.

He concluded by urging Christians to have a purpose in life and to live according to principles that demonstrate their faith, selflessness, and commitment to God’s kingdom.

“Many people don’t know our secret. Some people will think, oh, this suit is wearing now is church money. This trouser is church money. This watch is, ah, church money. That is mumuciousness of sense. Church checkbook is not in our possession from day one till now. CD that is sold in this church. I have not used one naira of it to buy a tie. Seed of destiny, monthly devotion, I write it. Not one naira of it has been used to buy socks. How much more church offering? If the one that you can say this is legitimately yours. God, the things we need, he supplies. He supplies them like that, direct. I gave about 200 and something suits out in one day. Let’s stop living for things. Let’s stop. Let’s start living for God. Let’s start living for reality. Let’s start living for what matters. Let’s start living for the kingdom. And you will come to the point where they think that people are looking for. They die after you. They rush after you. Somebody say it loud. Amen.”
