Habeeb Hamzat, better known by his stage name Peller, is a Nigerian streamer and content creator who has announced plans to return to school, citing his poor command of English as a major issue.
Peller publicly apologised for his poor command of the English language during a widely shared live stream with fellow streamer Enzo.
Despite his success on the internet, he acknowledged that communication has continued to be a significant obstacle.
He claims that he is now committed to continuing his education and intends to enrol in a university to study the arts.
He clarified that the relocation is a component of his endeavour to better himself and communicate.
Peller acknowledged during the live session that his difficulty with English makes it impossible for him to see himself conversing with American influencers like DDG and iShowSpeed with confidence.
“I can’t see myself meeting DDG and Speed because how would I communicate with them? My English is very bad. I’m going to the university soon to study arts,” he said.
His decision comes after weeks of controversy surrounding his breakup with Jarvis, his coworker and romantic interest, which put him in the public eye.
Since then, fans and followers have expressed varied opinions on social media. While some have expressed support for Peller’s choice to continue his education, others have pointed out how ironic it is that someone who formerly made fun of grads is now pursuing formal education.
