“My dad died because all the qualified doctors were in church” – Keji Giwa recounts painful loss

Keji Giwa, a Nigerian billionaire businessman, has spoken up about one of the most terrible experiences of his life, detailing the events surrounding his father’s death.

During a recent interview on the “Outside the Box” platform, Giwa stated that his father was on his way to the UK as part of a yearly tradition with his family when tragedy struck unexpectedly.

According to Giwa, everything seemed normal before the incident because he had spoken with his father soon before leaving.

“What happened? Food poisoning. On that day he was taken to the hospital, it was a Sunday. He shouldn’t be dead. It’s ordinary food poisoning, but he died. He died because all the qualified doctors were in church on a Sunday,” he added.

The businessman stated that the episode had a profound impact on him and moulded his religious beliefs, particularly because it occurred at a time when he and his father were beginning to form a better bond.
