Beyond Limits Football Academy, located in Ikenne, Ogun State, is home to the youth team of the Nigeria Professional Football League champions Remo Stars.
The academy has gained recognition for its participation in international youth competitions, such as the Gothia Cup in Sweden and the Viareggio Tournament in Italy, where it advanced to the semi-final stage in both events.
Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen shared personal experiences from his early career, emphasising that success in football is built on more than talent alone.
Osimhen also donated ₦10 million to support the development of the young football players at Beyond Limits Football Academy.
“I know how [tough] it is to make it from the trenches, especially in football,” Osimhen said. “Many of you are just like me, and those who made it passed through the same struggles you’re facing today.”
The former forward for Napoli outlined three principles that he said influenced his career: education, hard effort with a willingness to accept failure, and faith in God.

Osimhen warned players against ignoring their academic growth and placed a strong emphasis on education.
“In anything you do, make sure you go to school,” he said. “Make sure you’re educated, that you can read and write, and make sure you have the right people around you.”
Additionally, he promoted perseverance, mental discipline, and humility, emphasising that in order to achieve the highest level, ability must be paired with grace and character.
“There are places your talent can never take you to that grace will,” the 2023 CAF Player of the Year added.
Following the session, Osimhen wished the Beyond Limits players luck as they pursued careers in professional football and gave them a ₦10 million donation.
