“Money is not the foundation of marriage” — Lady cites Regina Daniels and Dangote in relationship advice

Actress Regina Daniels and businessman Aliko Dangote’s marriages have been used by a woman to demonstrate that money alone cannot ensure a successful marriage, which has stirred internet debate.

In a social media post, the woman advised men and women to pay more attention to how they treat their relationships instead of supposing that material comfort is sufficient to keep a relationship going.

When talking about the significance of compatibility and treatment in a marriage, she brought up Regina Daniels, who wed rich politician Ned Nwoko.

The woman said, “As a man do not forget that Regina Daniel has married a rich man and still found fault with him and ran away.”

She also brought up Dangote while making a similar remark about wealthy guys and marriage.

As a woman do not forget that Dangote has married 4 women and stuff divorced them,” she said.

Her remarks seemed to refute the widely held notion that marrying a wealthy person inevitably ensures stability or happiness.

She also counselled couples to focus on small gestures of gratitude and generosity rather than primarily depending on internet relationship pundits.

Money is not the foundation of marriage. Learn to treat your partner nicely. Appreciate them for little things. Stop following social media advisers,” the lady said.

The post has contributed to broader online discussions regarding the elements of successful marriages, which are commonly discussed on social media and include mutual respect, wealth, compatibility, and communication.

Her main point was that kindness, gratitude, and good treatment between spouses shouldn’t be replaced by one’s financial situation.
