A Nigerian man has inspired many people on social media after sharing an emotional narrative of his mother’s altruistic act, despite her bad health and financial difficulties.
According to him, his mother, who is currently ill and having financial troubles, yet managed to give him money as he prepared to come home.
He added that he had recently returned home and discovered his mother was ill, stating that she had been his primary source of emotional and psychological support during a difficult era defined by financial struggle.
The man claimed that on the day he planned to leave, his mother approached him softly and informed him that she had saved some money for him, apologising for the small amount owing to her financial situation.
He expressed his heartfelt gratitude and respect for her sacrifice, calling her as a superhero who always prioritises her children over her own needs.

“Today is the 26th day of January 2026 and this is the money my mom gave to me because I told her I was going back to where I based.
She doesn’t have much but she gave me this. I came back home and saw my mom sick. I’ve been going through a lot of financial crisis and She’s been my go-to. And I just got back. I just got back home a few days ago. I was telling her that I was going to go back today, later in the afternoon. And she just came to me because we have people in our house now. She just came to me, tapped me and whispered to me that she kept some cash from me on top of the bed that she doesn’t have much now because clearly she’s sick. My God, if not for anything, bless me because of this woman. If not because of anything, bless me because of this woman. My mom is a superhero. She goes literally out of her way to do anything for her kids. God bless me for the sake of my mom. God bless me for the sake of my mother. Who… Who gives people money when they are sick? When they are in debt? When the Lord is going on with them? God bless me for the sake of my mom.”
