A young woman has generated extensive debate on social media after uploading a video in which she criticises those who purposefully present themselves as financially insecure in order to avoid being approached for money.
In the viral video, the woman speaks directly to the camera, expressing her disgust at what she describes as dishonest actions with money.
The woman emphasised that claiming to be broke was unnecessary and deceptive, and that people had the freedom to deny financial requests without deception.
Read what she said below;
“The worst set of people I hate in this life are people that act broke so you don’t have to ask them for money. That thing is just bullshit to me. It’s a coward move.”
She also stated that rejecting to pay money should be done honestly, without giving a false image of suffering.
“If you don’t want to give me, you say you don’t want to give me. Why do you lie? It is your money. You worked hard for it,” she stated.
While some social media users applauded her call for honesty, others contended that no one deserved an explanation for how they handled their finances.
The video has continued to spark debates about entitlement, personal boundaries, and financial transparency.
