Social media personality Andrew Tate has alleged that the conditions of his detention are “cruel and unusual,” claiming the water available in his jail cell is making him ill.

In a series of posts shared over the weekend, Tate said the only water accessible in his cell comes from a shower tap, which he described as “brown and filthy.” He claimed he is not allowed to drink bottled water and is instead being “forced to drink po!s0ned water,” alleging the water has caused him persistent stomach problems.

The allegations come after Andrew Tate and his brother, Tristan Tate, were arrested earlier this month in Miami after U.S. Marshals executed a UK extradition warrant. The brothers are wanted in Britain over charges including rape, $3x trafficking, and child p0√n0graphy. They have denied all the allegations.

Tate further claimed he is being held in a Special Housing Unit, where he has no access to the prison commissary, cannot make phone calls, and is not allowed time outside his cell.

His attorney, Joseph McBride, said a court hearing was scheduled for Monday and that the legal team would seek to raise concerns about the brothers’ detention conditions.

“We’ll exhaust all appropriate measures at this time to ensure that Andrew and Tristan are well taken care of,” McBride said. He added that the legal team is “gravely concerned about Andrew and Tristan’s physical, spiritual and psychological health in solitary confinement.”

Meanwhile, the White House has made it clear that it will not interfere in the case. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said President Donald Trump has no plans to intervene as Andrew and Tristan Tate continue to face extradition proceedings to the United Kingdom.
