Nigerian skit maker and actor Samuel Perry, popularly known as Broda Shaggi, has broken his silence after spending months away from the public spotlight, assuring fans that he will return stronger.
The comedian, who has maintained a low profile and stayed away from shows, events, and other public engagements in recent months, expressed gratitude to fans who continued to check on him during his absence.
In an emotional message shared on his WhatsApp channel on Friday, Broda Shaggi admitted that he had not been able to connect with his supporters as much as he would have liked.
While addressing his prolonged absence, he explained that he was not yet ready to reveal everything he had been going through.
He said:
“I wish I could tell y’all everything right now… but I can’t. Not yet. Just know I haven’t forgotten about you, and I haven’t stopped thinking about the day I can finally come back and really be ME with y’all again. I’m hoping that day comes soon.”
The content creator, however, assured fans that he remains hopeful about returning to the public scene.
He further promised:
“And when it does, I promise I’m coming back better, stronger, and ready to make up for all this lost time.”
Broda Shaggi’s message has renewed attention around his prolonged absence, especially following earlier concerns surrounding an alleged shooting incident involving the comedian months ago.
However, he did not directly link his absence to the reported incident or provide further details about his situation.
For now, fans continue to await the comedian’s return, while many have expressed support and wished him a speedy comeback.
