TikTok star Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has explained why Afrobeats superstar Davido was absent from his traditional wedding to fellow content creator Jarvis.

Peller addressed the singer’s absence during a live session with fans, dismissing speculation that Davido stayed away because of a misunderstanding between them.

The clarification comes after Davido’s absence from the star-studded ceremony sparked conversations online, with some social media users questioning whether there was a rift between the two.

Peller and Davido have previously attracted attention after appearing together during a TikTok livestream that reportedly drew a massive audience.

Despite the singer’s absence, Peller insisted that their relationship remains cordial and that he still holds Davido in high regard.

According to the TikTok star, Davido’s demanding schedule prevented him from attending the wedding.

He said:

“Davido treats me like his son. He was very busy, that’s why he couldn’t attend my wedding. I love him so much.”

Peller’s explanation has helped dispel rumours of a fallout, shifting attention away from speculation and toward Davido’s busy schedule.

The content creator also maintained that the award-winning singer remains one of his biggest supporters and has always shown him genuine love and encouragement.
