An Iranian woman has generated internet debate after revealing her thoughts on the recent upheaval in Iran.
The video, posted by X user @byrakeshsimha, shows her freely discussing the country’s issues and history.
She chastised outsiders who comment on Iran without comprehending its complexities, highlighting how many people misinterpret the country’s rich culture and history.
The young woman emphasised the difficulties Iranians endure despite living in a resource-rich country, noting poor infrastructure, corruption, and mishandling during crises such as COVID-19.
She criticised the regime’s violent responses to protests and mishandling of key situations, which have resulted in numerous deaths.
Looking ahead, she indicated support for outside intervention and hope for a leadership transition outside of the current administration.
Read her words below:
“If you’re not Iranian, you better shut the fuck up. You don’t even know exactly where Iran is on the map. You don’t even know the difference between Persians and Arabs. You don’t even know that Iran is one of the oldest civilizations in the world with more than 5,000 years of history while the Islamic Republic has only been in power for 47 years. And most Iranians are not even Muslim.
You don’t even know what it feels like to live in one of the richest countries in the world but still be broke with no reliable water or electricity while your fucking government powers crypto farms, pockets money, and funds terrorists across the Middle East instead of importing vaccines during COVID-19 to save its own people.
You don’t even know what it feels like when your regime shoots down a passenger plane full of your own people in your country and then calls it human error.
You don’t even know what it feels like to live in one of the most beautiful countries in the world with four seasons, ancient history, incredible tourist attractions, amazing food, and some of the best and kindest people on Earth, but because of a stupid government you barely get any tourists each year. You definitely don’t know what it feels like to peacefully protest in the street for all of these and just be answered with bullets. In just two days, Islamic Republic killed over 50,000 protesters.
We Iranians are very grateful to the US and Israel for killing that dictator and helping us take our country back from that bastard regime. Europe has seen it before. Dictators don’t just leave. Sometimes outside force is what ends them, just like it did in France, Germany, Italy. And just so you know, we do have an alternative as well. Prince Reza Pahlavi is the only person that all of us want, not anyone from inside their regimes and not the terrorist group like Mujahideen al-Khalq.”
