A dramatic scenario that left the female professor and her audience in disbelief occurred during her presentation on polygamy.
The purpose of the gathering was to discuss the alleged advantages of polygamy and to persuade women to assist their husbands in engaging in it.
The lecturer spoke passionately about her beliefs and why she believed women should practice polygamy.
She emphasised the advantages again and time again, characterising it as a means of achieving both personal development and marital happiness.
She addressed the professor directly, saying, “Prof, I really appreciate this topic because I am relieved of my fear. I never knew you are this simple and understanding. Your message has given me the opportunity to open up to you.”
The woman paused, then delivered a shocking claim: “I have been married to your husband for the past four years, and between us, we have a set of twins.”
The lecture hall erupted in gasps at the discovery. According to witnesses, the professor passed out right away and was taken to a local hospital.
The same woman was present by her bedside when the professor opened her eyes after being resurrected.
Calmly, the visitor revealed the truth: “Prof, I don’t know who your husband is. I just lied to see if you could handle what you preach to others.
“Next time, please speak on subjects that you are truly knowledgeable about. Don’t stand on a stage and share opinions just because you have the title ‘professor’ in front of your name.”
Online discussions concerning the dangers of preaching ideas without firsthand experience and the duty of academics when presenting contentious subjects have been spurred by the incident.
