A Nigerian woman has generated outrage online after revealing her encounter with a man who seemed interested in her during a church session.

In a video posted on X (previously Twitter), she described how the man sat next to her and kept gazing at her, giving her the feeling that he wanted to approach her.

“I was in church today, and there was this guy sitting beside me. He was just looking at me and giving me this vibe, like, ‘I want to talk to this girl.’ I was cool. I didn’t even tell this guy anything.”

She mentioned that even though she saw the man’s attention, she maintained her composure and made no effort to interact with him.

She saw that the man did not try to pay for her offering when it came time to contribute, but she also said that he seemed to have plans to approach her after the ceremony.

“It was time for offering. This guy did not make any attempt to pay for my offering. After the church, this guy had it in mind to ask for my number,” she added.

Some social media users are arguing about whether it is a sign of generosity or interest to pay someone’s offering.
