A Nigerian girl has triggered internet emotions after disclosing her disturbing dating experience when a man who invited her out allegedly requested her to pay for her supper after they finished eating.
According to her, she consented to go on the date after the male expressed interest, without knowing what would happen at the end.

“You asked me on a date, and I said okay, let’s give it a trial. I went on the date with you, ordered stir-fried pasta and chicken with juice. After eating, they brought the bill, and it was ₦52,000. You now told me to send my part”.
She noted that the suggestion caught her off guard, especially because he had initiated the date and urged her to order whatever she wanted.
Despite the unpleasant scenario, she chose to remain calm and prevent public shame before departing the scene.
“I just paid the full ₦52,000 and left. I blocked him instantly. If I didn’t have money, what would have happened? My girlies, always go with money so you don’t get embarrassed,” she added.
Many women have criticised the man on social media, while others have defended sharing costs, claiming that it is up to both parties to agree.
