Esther Okereke, a Nigerian hair vendor, accused her husband in viral social media posts, which revealed that she kept up a public image of being in a happy marriage with a loving and supporting spouse.
According to LIB, Esther raised the alarm on social media, claiming that Justice Okereke Ezechimere, her husband of eight years, from Imo state, was preparing to kill her in order to seize her home and other belongings.
Esther disclosed in the widely shared video that she had been subjected to violence and cruelty in her marriage for eight years.
She claimed that she discovered her spouse had reportedly stolen her documents and fled their home when she returned to Nigeria from a business trip in Vietnam.
She stated that she wants a divorce because she is sick of the marriage and that her husband should be held accountable in the event of an incident.

She has always presented a picture of married joy on social media, but her most recent accusations of domestic abuse go counter to that.
The picture of marital joy she has consistently presented on social media stands in stark contrast to the violence allegations.
She praised her spouse for not “stopping her wings from flying” and characterised him as her support system in posts from January 2024 and September 2025 that are currently trending on social media.
“The bone of my bone. The flesh of my flesh. The crown upon my head. My backbone. My support system. This man will literally stay awake to make sure I am breathing,” she wrote.
“Abeg make una help me say a prayer for this man that changed my life. I never knew hubby has been monitoring me since from that Facebook, my consistency, my hard work, the things I post, the things I say, in fact it was just God.
