A Nigerian woman has revealed the facts of an agreement with her husband and its aftermath.

In a post on X, @Deisine shared details of an arrangement she struck with her spouse, including a condition that visitors may not remain for more than one week.

However, the arrangement required guests to provide prior notification of their coming.

Her mother died 10 months after their agreement, leaving her husband to care for her younger siblings for nearly three years.

‎Reflecting on life’s realities, she stated,
‎ “We sometimes say things due to lack of experience, it is when life present us with the real deal that we know who our people are”.‎
