Users have reported that they are currently unable to access the Facebook platform. The issue reportedly began around 2:30 pm, with users saying they could not load posts and were seeing “page not found” errors on the Meta-owned service Facebook.

Tracking site DownDetector recorded more than 41,500 outage reports shortly after 2:30 pm. Users posted complaints such as the website being down, both the app and site not working, and others confirming access issues in different regions including the UK. Another report mentioned that Meta Business Suite was also showing error messages.

Another outage monitoring platform, Down for Everyone or Just Me, recorded nearly 13,000 reports, with issues first appearing shortly after 1 pm. The disruption appears to be widespread, with reports coming from countries including the United States, Canada, the Philippines, Spain, and Hungary.

Users on X also reported problems, saying both Facebook Messenger and Facebook were inaccessible or had logged them out unexpectedly.

Meta Platforms has not yet released any official statement explaining the cause of the outage.
