A woman generated outrage online after telling her pastor about her frustrations with dating as a church girl.
During a popular lecture, she said that women in the church are frequently instructed not to chase men, but to wait for men to approach them.
However, she complained that many religious men are not making the initial move, which has left numerous women concerned as time passes and ageing becomes a factor.
Expressing her frustration, read what she said below;
“We are taught to wait for the man to come because we cannot go after a man. Now we are getting older, and time is not on our side.”
She went on to compare church males to men outside the church, noticing that non-church men appear considerably more confident, even at a younger age.
According to her, it is typical to see a 20-year-old confidently approach her and express interest, which she rarely encounters in the church.
“We are spiritual, we like Jesus, and it’s very difficult to drag these guys to church, but the church boys are not coming either,” she added.
Concluding her words, the lady asked the pastor what might be done to solve the matter, especially since the majority of the men who expressed interest were not spiritual.
Her statements ignited an online conversation, with many women identifying with her concerns and contemplating how to create a balance between faith, attractiveness, and relationships.
