“Adeleke is an APC puppet” – VeryDarkMan calls out Osun governor, drags Davido into political row

Social media critic Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has accused Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke of secretly supporting the All Progressives Congress (APC), despite his public political position.

The critic also mentioned Afrobeats singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, alleging that the musician was aware of his uncle’s supposed political allegiance.

VeryDarkMan made the claims in a post on his Instagram page, where he questioned the governor’s political stance and suggested that the circumstances surrounding the Osun election were different from what the public had been led to believe.

‘Osun Election Was an APC Primary’

According to VeryDarkMan, the Osun election had effectively become an APC primary, alleging that Adeleke publicly opposed the party to protect his electoral chances.

He further claimed that Davido knew about his uncle’s alleged political alignment but did not disclose it publicly because doing so could have affected the governor’s chances at the polls.

In his post, the social media critic wrote:

“Governor Ademola Adeleke finally showed Nigerians what he has been hiding all these while, that he’s APC puppet and he has always been.

“A lot of you don’t know that the election in Osun was an APC primaries and yes, Davido knew 100 percent that his uncle Ademola Adeleke is APC,” he wrote.

By bringing Davido into the discussion, VeryDarkMan suggested that the singer was aware of his uncle’s alleged political position throughout the election period.
