2027: “All your magic won’t work” — Primate Ayodele suggests what Tinubu, APC should do to avoid defeat

President Bola Tinubu has been cautioned by INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church leader Primate Elijah Ayodele that opposition forces may defeat him in the 2027 presidential race.

According to Ayodele, if the president’s government does not resolve the issues and complaints of Nigerians prior to the election, the president might face a challenging contest.

According to the Daily Post, the cleric made the forecast in a statement released on Tuesday by his media assistant, Osho Oluwatosin.

Ayodele claims that politicians who are unable to obtain tickets within the ruling party may eventually turn against Tinubu and try to prevent his reelection.

Additionally, he said that some people in the president’s immediate vicinity were deceiving him by making the state of the nation appear better than it actually was.

Ayodele said: “Tinubu is very desperate; he has not done what Nigerians want, and people surrounding him are deceiving him. They only want to eat his money.

“Most of the people who dropped from the party will work against Tinubu’s victory, and he can lose the election if he isn’t careful.”

The cleric particularly cited opposition leaders and former vice president Atiku Abubakar as possible rivals to Tinubu’s bid for a second term.

According to him, “the coalition of Atiku and others can take Tinubu out of office, regardless of those he has with him.”

Ayodele also cautioned the president against depending on purported schemes to win without using public votes.

He added that the 2027 election might be fiercely competitive and that Nigerians would oppose any attempt to rig the election.

“All the plans to rig will be resisted by Nigerians, and mind you, the election is going to be tough. Don’t expect it to be free and fair.

“People will show that they are desperate, and people will show they don’t want APC. The party needs to pacify Nigerians; otherwise, all the magic will not work,” he added.
