Reality TV personality Phyna has accused content creator Ashmusy of attempting to get her pulled from a forthcoming boxing competition due to an alleged argument.

Phyna revealed in an online video that she was first asked to fight a Ghanaian woman by promoters. She later withdrew, though, after disclosing that the planned fight date was her wedding day.

Phyna claims that before recommending Ashmusy for the bout, she spent months assisting the organisers in finding a substitute. Before being contacted by the organisers, she said Ashmusy accepted the proposed sum and consented to participate.

“I now suggested to the organiser, what about Ashmusy? Immediately I called Ashmusy, we spoke and she said she was down, ready and active. We spoke about the money. She said she agreed, no problem. She now said I should connect her and the organisers,” she said.

Phyna claimed that Ashmusy later raised the amount she asked for, which the organisers allegedly approved, but once a contract was delivered to her, there were delays.

She stated that she was instructed to talk with Ashmusy when she phoned the organisers regarding the delay. Ashmusy allegedly urged the organisers to take her out of the battle because she had a better substitute, according to Phyna.

“Do you know that since day before yesterday, Ashmusy is telling the organisers to drop me, and she has a better person to replace me. Me wey don dey talk to these people for seven months. I was the one who brought you in last week,” she added.

Phyna questioned the purported choice, emphasising that she had assisted with the fight for months prior to presenting Ashmusy as a possible rival.

As supporters wait for more information, the accusations have garnered attention online.
