AlvinOfLagos, a content producer, has expressed worry over the exorbitant cost of transportation from the Lagos airport.

In a video, he complained about inflated taxi costs, alleging that some drivers charge between ₦40,000 and ₦50,000 for trips that should cost much less.

According to him, many ride-hailing drivers allegedly refuse trips unless the rate is dramatically increased, frequently citing airport fees as the reason.

He admitted that, frustrated by the circumstances, he resorted to leaving the airport on a motorbike.

He questioned the lack of control, stating that travellers who have already spent over ₦150,000 on flight tickets are still expected to pay tens of thousands more merely to return home.
