A female business owner has explained why she fired her logistics manager for the second time.

On the microblogging site X (formerly Twitter), the woman going by the handle @dimakillishi said that she had previously reinstated him because of her mother’s influence.

The businesswoman revealed in her now-viral tweet that she called him after not hearing from him for two weeks.

But his weak voice during the exchange made her want to go to his house.

She was horrified to find him feeble and almost dead when she arrived. While his neighbours deserted him, she hurried him to the hospital and paid for his medical bills.

She gave him a N550,000 client order to bring to the park after he recovered.

The female businesswoman claims that after paying N6,000 for the delivery cost, her former employee requested that she pay N10,000 and ultimately left the customer’s parcel in the park.

But when she hurried to the park at 8 p.m. to get the package, he was fired.

The business owner revealed that her mother was aware of her former employee’s dismissal and that he owed her N80,000.

“That was my breaking point.This is not wickedness, this is leadership.Empathy does not replace accountability and chances must end where integrity stops“, She stated in the tweet.
