A Nigerian woman who has known award-winning Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo for over 20 years has disclosed information of their experience.

Earlier, GistReel stated that the actor died on Monday, May 11, 2025, prompting tributes and sorrow from fans and industry colleagues.

Sharon Ojong shared a lengthy Instagram post about meeting the actor at the University of Calabar (UNICAL).

According to her, before entering the spotlight, the actor treasured his privacy and rarely spoke about his problems.

Despite his challenges, he made time to pray, support her, and be kind to other people.

Despite his fame, he travelled from Lagos Island to attend a Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) service.

However, following the religious service, they talked about life, purpose, and dreams.

Reflecting on the actor’s death, the lady stated that she was heartbroken and speechless.
