Cubana Chiefpriest, a prominent entertainer and businessman, gave 250 boxes of cosmetic kits worth ₦40 million through the City Boy Movement, boosting entrepreneurship among women in Imo State.
The program, conducted in Owerri on Friday, intended to provide women with tools to start or expand small enterprises, particularly in the beauty and cosmetics industry.
Speaking at the event, Cubana Chiefpriest said, “We are here to empower women. These makeup kits are not just gifts—they are a means for these women to create sustainable businesses, support their families, and achieve financial independence.”
Over 250 women from diverse communities in Imo State attended the event and expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to obtain high-quality instruments for their profession.
Many participants expressed their excitement about using the kits to create income and build their personal brands in the beauty business.
“This initiative is part of our continuous effort through the City Boy Movement to uplift communities, support women, and create opportunities for economic growth,” he added.
This follows Cubana Chiefpriest’s earlier humanitarian activities, which have included supporting youth and women’s empowerment projects across Nigeria.
In 2022, he introduced a similar scheme in Lagos, offering business kits and mentorship to budding female entrepreneurs, which received national notice and accolades.
