A woman’s article explaining why her ex-secondary schoolmate mailed her ₦400,000 has gone viral.

The user @freakin_snow on X (previously Twitter) revealed that she reconnected with a secondary school buddy in a mall.

The X user recounted how her secondary schoolmate paid for her groceries and spent ₦80,000 at a restaurant they visited.

However, he wired her ₦400,000 for a business promotion, then contacted her a month later and shared casket photos.

‎Sharing details of her reaction, @freakin_snow stated, “I told him that I can’t do that, he’s now asking for a refund but I’ve used the money. We did not sign any agreement or whatsoever. He’s now threatening me for just 400k 🤦‍♀️”.
