“Today, someone asked if I was 15” – 33-year old mother cries out

Despite being a mother, a 33-year-old Nigerian woman shared her experience of being mistaken for a teenager on social media.

She expressed shock and hurt over the remark in a widely shared video.

The young mother in the video disclosed that she was recently asked if she was fifteen.

She claims she was taken aback by the comment and made it apparent that she is much older than that.

“Today, someone asked if I was up to 15 years old. I’m not 15 years. I’ve got a daughter and I’ll be 33 years this year,” she said.

One person questioned her maturity and said her hairdo made her appear childlike;

“Take a very good look at yourself. Is your hairstyle not looking childish? Why won’t you behave like a child when you deprived yourself of childhood? Don’t just come up with that excuse. You had your daughter when you were 18. If you had a baby at 18, there’s every possibility you started knàcking as an underage.”

The woman, identified as @RevenuesBoost, swiftly responded to the criticism, defending her appearance:

“Just rest! I naturally look like this, hairstyle or not. It’s one of the reasons my husband married me. Thank God my husband has the same young look.”
