“This is not normal” – Sunshine Rosman speaks out on insecurity and hardship in Nigeria

Sunshine Rosman, a Nollywood actress, has expressed significant concerns about the state of the nation, notably increased insecurity and economic hardship.

In a recent outburst, the actress questioned the seeming silence and passivity in the face of deteriorating conditions throughout the country.

She highlighted the mounting issues that many Nigerians confront on a daily basis, including as poverty, bad infrastructure, and increased community relocation due to insecurity.

She also highlighted the situation in sections of Northern Nigeria, where attacks and violence have caused many people to evacuate their homes in search of safety.

According to her, the ongoing loss of life and lack of decisive action create major concerns about the country’s future.

“When are we going to wake up as Nigerians? When is it finally going to be enough? Like, is it… We can’t even begin to talk about the economy right now, the poverty rates. We can’t begin to talk about the lack of infrastructure in this country. That’s not bad enough. In a sense, people and Christians in the North are constantly being slaughtered. Lives are being lost for nothing. But people have to migrate. from their towns, from their homes, from their villages, because they know that nothing will be done. I swear it’s not normal. I swear to God this is not normal….”
