A Nigerian man has presented the award his late father earned from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in 1999 for 20 years of service.
The individual, identified as @londonakan on X (previously Twitter), disclosed that his father died at age 63.
The popular post does not reveal the circumstances surrounding his father’s death, but the attached award supports his claim that his father won a CBN award.
The honour, bearing his father’s name, honoured his 20-year service, ending on July 16, 1999.
”As at 1999, my father had already worked for 20 years with central bank…My father died at the age of 63″, he said.
The tweet, with over 15,000 views, has received numerous replies from X platform users.
