A woman has described her experience living with a flatmate whose constant body smell caused tension and discomfort in their shared space, prompting her to request a room move.

The woman described the incident while reminiscing on some of the most challenging flatmate situations she had ever experienced.

According to her, the scent was so powerful that it altered the ambiance of the room and even lingered on personal objects.

She added that the situation became more difficult with time, forcing her to spend extended times away from the room.

Rather than staying in the communal space, she frequently napped or socialised in other rooms to avoid discomfort.

“One of my worst roommate experiences was with a girl who had a very strong body odor. It was so bad that even my clothes would absorb the smell”

However, the issue took an unexpected turn when she discovered that her flatmate had allegedly informed others that she had felt ashamed and insulted during the debate.

The woman was wounded by the situation, as she stated that her intention was to offer assistance rather than cause humiliation.

After the misunderstanding, she asked to be relocated to another room.
