Primate Elijah Ayodele, a Nigerian preacher and the founder of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has given a new prophesy ahead of the 2027 general election, predicting that many Northern voters are unlikely to back President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term.

During a recent sermon, Ayodele stated that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) will need to engage in substantial reconciliation efforts to regain support in the north.

According to him, numerous Northern political groups are uniting behind former Vice President Atiku Abubakar.

The clergyman, however, cautioned that Atiku’s path to victory remains uncertain, despite what he termed as auspicious circumstances.

Ayodele indicated that, while Atiku has the opportunity to attain electoral success, a number of hurdles could derail his ambition if he fails to take strong political action.

“The thing is in front of Atiku, but a lot of circumstances will stop Atiku if Atiku does not wake up,” he said.

He also described President Tinubu as politically determined, claiming that the president’s level of dedication exceeds that of many of his opponents.

Beyond election politics, the monk expressed concern over Tinubu’s health and urged people close to the president to pay more attention to his well-being.

“But Tinubu must work seriously on his health for God to help him. Healthwise, Tinubu is not okay. The family needs to take care of him,” Ayodele stated.
