A young woman who claimed to have lost her house rent due to sports betting went viral on the internet after posting a tearful video of herself.
On the microblogging site, platform X, the video was observed to be trending.
It was discovered that the woman had used her rent to place a virtual wager with the goal of potentially double it.
The woman lost her money on the wager, though, and the entire situation had backfired.
In the widely circulated video, she can be seen sobbing about her misplaced money.
“Sporty why?” She lamented.
