According to what was learned from the autopsy, one of the victims, 36-year-old cinematographer Walter Odediran, had no food in his stomach, while Godstime Imeh, a lighting director and chief officer of GeeTee Light, a boyhood buddy, had very little.
Remember how the two were found dead in a Nissan that Imeh owned parked on the grounds of Evercare Hospital, where a film was being shot, on February 7, 2026?
According to sources, the autopsy’s pathologists discovered little to no food in the victims’ stomachs. In one instance, there was no food in the stomach, whereas in the other, there was very little.
Sources said pathologists, who conducted the autopsy found little or no food in the victims’ stomachs. “In one case, the stomach was empty, while the other contained only a small amount of food. It was almost as if he hadn’t eaten anything,” a source said, per Vanguard.
Additional tests on collected blood and tissue samples would be carried out to identify whether the victims had consumed or inhaled any dangerous chemicals before their deaths in order to pinpoint the precise cause of death.
Kola Odediran, Walter’s older brother, confirmed this, stating that yesterday, February 18, 2026 the preliminary autopsy results were given to the family. “The autopsy itself is complete, and no food was found in my late brother,” he declared.
According to the results, he didn’t consume anything. However, they will do histology and toxicological testing, which will yield the conclusive responses we seek. It will take two to three weeks to receive the results of these further testing.
The deceased’s family said they hoped the next tests will help unravel the enigmatic circumstances of the unfortunate event.
