Central Cee, a British rapper, revealed that his entire sneaker collection was recently stolen from storage.
Cee, 27, took to Instagram to inform his fans that thieves had targeted his locker, which housed his extensive collection of trainers.
The fashion-forward star’s collection is estimated to be worth thousands of dollars, with the Let Go hitmaker revealing that it includes shoes he has been collecting for TWELVE years.
He shared a photo of the empty unit after all of its contents appeared to have been stolen.
According to Central Cee’s post, the collection represented 12 years of dedicated sneaker collecting and passion.
Writing alongside the snap, the rapper, whose real name is Oakley, said: “My [shoe] storage got robbed the other day.
“12 years of collecting crep.”
The timing of the announcement has sparked widespread curiosity within the sneaker community and among fans. With Central Cee set to unveil two Nike Air Force 1 colourways in the coming days, some are questioning whether the reported theft is genuine or merely a strategic publicity move ahead of the highly anticipated releases.
