A lady has sparked widespread reactions online by advising women to stop pretending when men invite them to ‘chill’ and instead clearly state their expectations.
In a video that is currently circulating on X (formerly Twitter), the lady encourages women to be upfront when a man invites them to come over or spend time alone with him.
She believes that such invitations are often not innocent, and women should be aware of the implications.
In her words, she said:
“As a lady, put a price tag on your body. If a man asks you to come chill with him or come be with him, don’t act ignorant or oblivious to the fact that that man is asking you to come sleep with him.”
She went further to advise women not to feel embarrassed about asking direct questions regarding what they stand to gain from such meetings.
“Don’t be ashamed to ask him, ‘So what am I going to benefit from coming to chill with you? What is the benefit? What are you offering?’ And if he says he doesn’t understand, tell him clearly what you want.”
The lady also dismissed the fear of being judged or being called a hoe, noting that women are often criticised regardless of what choice they make.
Her remarks have since generated mixed reactions online. While some users applauded her boldness and called her advice realistic, others criticised it as encouraging transactional relationships rather than genuine connections.
One user wrote, “She just said what many people are afraid to say out loud.” Another commented, “This sounds like turning relationships into business transactions.
