Popular streamer and content creator Peller has responded to rapper YCee amid the ongoing “Olodo Uprising” controversy.

Addressing the criticism directed at him, Peller said he is frustrated by the constant attacks, alleging that some people want him to overthink his situation and eventually quit his career.

According to him, he has no personal issue with YCee, adding that while he is familiar with the rapper’s music, he does not know him personally.

Peller also claimed that several celebrities who publicly criticize him have privately contacted him seeking promotional collaborations.

He explained that such requests are typically handled by his management team, who provide interested parties with his rate card.

According to him, some of those individuals later took to podcasts and social media to criticize him after discovering that his services were beyond their budget.

Peller maintained that the negativity directed at him would not discourage him from continuing his career as a content creator.

“Your hatred got nothing on me. I swear to God, I’m frustrated. People want me to be thinking. They want me to quit my career. Am I the only one? I know Ycee’s music but I don’t know his face. These celebrities message me for PR but it’s my management that always reply them and give them my rate card; when they see that they can’t pay me because it’s too expensive, they go on podcast to shade me,” he said.

His remarks have since sparked reactions online, with social media users weighing in on the ongoing debate surrounding content creation, celebrity influence, and the value placed on education and entertainment in Nigeria.
