Fans have praised Nollywood actress Funke Akindele and her ex-husband JJC Skillz after they reunited for a family vacation in Paris with their twin boys.

As they spent time with their kids, the ex-couple, who divorced three years ago, seemed to put their disagreements aside. During the trip, it seemed like several of JJC Skillz’s other kids were also there.

On their individual social media profiles, Funke and JJC posted tidbits about their time in Paris. He was seen conversing with Funke in one of the films that JJC posted before asking if she wanted to play games.

Fans were given a glimpse at the former couple’s reportedly friendly co-parenting relationship in another video that saw them playing games and spending time with their twin boys.

Social media users responded favourably to the films, praising the couple for putting their kids first despite their divorce.

One user wrote, “Na so e suppose be. Everything no be fight. Show up for the kids; that’s all.”

Another commented, “Marriage not work! Co-parenting shouldn’t be war or hatred. Let the children feel loved by both parents.”

A third user wrote, “Two mature people coming together for their kids’ happiness,” while another added, “Two adults that understand the word, ‘Co-parenting.’”

Remember that JJC Skillz announced the dissolution of his seven-year union with Funke Akindele in 2022? At the time, he disclosed that there had been problems in their marriage and asserted that the actress had ordered him to leave her home and had refused to communicate with him in a friendly manner.
