Growing up, I always saw my family politely decline Salah food from our Muslim neighbours.
We simply don’t eat it.
So when she brought some over, I respectfully declined.
I thought that was the end of it.
Yesterday, I bought biscuits after work and called her kids as usual.
They didn’t come.
Then the youngest shouted:
“My mummy said we shouldn’t collect anything from you again.”
I confronted her.
Her response was immediate:
“If you can’t eat mine, why should my children eat yours?”
Woman b@rred her children from collecting gifts from another neighbour over a rejected Salah food gesture.
