An emotional account of how a disciplinary meeting with his supervisor turned into one of the most memorable experiences of his career was told by a man.

According to him, his manager brought him into a closed-door conference after corporate detected repeated weekend incursions into the office building. He was afraid of being accused of misusing company property and possibly facing disciplinary action because he had been to the office multiple Saturdays in a row.

He braced himself for the worst, not knowing how to justify himself.

The man clarified that he had been tutoring Rosa’s teenage son on Saturdays. Rosa’s mother was a building caretaker during the week.

He claimed to have first encountered the youngster while his mother was cleaning the office and he was using a cell phone to prepare for the SAT. In an attempt to assist, he started teaching him maths in a conference room and even purchased a used laptop for him, claiming the workplace had given it away.

The man recalled his boss saying, “We have to talk about your parking garage badge records.”

Instead of reprimanding him, the boss explained that corporate had previously watched the lobby surveillance footage and understood exactly why he had been coming in on weekends.

The corporation decided to provide them with a permanent place for the tutoring sessions and also offered to pay for the teenager’s professional SAT preparation course.

Since then, the heartwarming tale has gone viral, with numerous social media users complimenting the man’s generosity and commending the business for supporting the student’s aspiration to become an engineer.
