Korra Obidi, a Nigerian singer and dancer, expressed irritation after missing her journey to Lagos, calling it the worst flight experience she has ever experienced.

She took to Instagram to explain that she had been waiting at the boarding gate for hours before falling asleep, only to wake up to find that the flight had already left without her.

Korra stated that she was travelling with Royal Air Maroc and that there was no announcement telling passengers that boarding for the Lagos aircraft had begun.

The singer revealed that she had to spend an additional $500 to get another ticket to Lagos after missing her previous trip.

She further reported that, after purchasing a replacement ticket, she was not allowed to return to the boarding area because the new flight was scheduled for midnight.

“I had to pay $500 to buy another transit flight to Lagos. Now they’re telling me I cannot go inside because it’s too early to board. I have to stay out here for four hours.”

Korra claimed that she had previously waited for almost eight hours before missing the first flight and insisted on being seated straight in front of the boarding gate. She insisted that no announcement was made calling her name or telling passengers that boarding had begun before the plane departed.
