A mother and her new boyfriend have been accused of mu√dering and $3xually a$$aulting a two-year-old girl who allegedly suffered 21 broken bones in the weeks leading up to her death.

Two-year-old Isabelle Welsh reportedly collapsed at her home in Hartington Close, Thornaby, Teesside, after sustaining what the court heard was a “massive head injury.” Despite efforts to save her, she d!ed from her injuries.

Her mother, Alexandra Walker, 25, and Harrison Simpson, 22, have both pleaded not guilty to charges of murder, causing or allowing the d3ath of a child, $3xual a$$ault, and child c√uelty. The pair are currently standing trial at Teesside Crown Court.
